Adjusting to the alpine binding : Read or measure the sole length on the ski boot. On the underside of the startUp, lift the rail with your finger and move the heel piece so that the length closest to that on the ski boot is visible in the small viewing window. When you release the tab, make sure that it clicks securely into place so that the heel piece cannot move any further.
Adjusting to the ski boot: Lift the upper part (binding plate) and press the small clamps on the middle bar together. The two segments can now be tilted and moved. Pay attention to the arrow marking on the top at the length and snap the parts into place at the length that is closest to that on the ski boot. The height of the front bar can also be adjusted. Pull the slider out to the side, move the bar up or down one step and secure it again securely with the slider.
Insert the startUp ski touring adapter into the alpine binding like a ski boot. Then put the ski boot into the heel bar and close the front bar. The ski boot should be securely fixed in the adapter binding. The folding climbing aid makes steep climbs easier.
Before setting off, release the front bar, get out of the startUp ski touring adapter and then remove the adapter from the alpine binding.
